Slinking back to my desk after 2 weeks off, 3 multi-day music festivals, and a whole lot of sweet sweet family and friend time.
All semblance of routine has been thrown out the window in lieu of late nights, long drives on winding roads, homemade hollandaise, and unputdownable fiction.
I love me some back to back fun times, %FIRSTNAME%, but I also adore my regular life and routine. So much so that I resist taking large chunks of time completely off.
The loss of momentum is always present after a break.
You put down your habits, projects, and plans and it’s like taking off a heavy backpack. It’s normal for it to feel heavier than before when you pick it back up to continue the hike up the proverbial mountain.
If you’re like me right now and the time has come to get back on the horse — let’s giddy up together and get back to the glory that comes with consistency and having a clear plan for what you’re doing and where you’re going.
I’m sharing my personal process for returning to real life (+ Notion template included) 👇
🍵💲Prompts on prompts and a free Notion template to help you reintegrate into real life after a pause.
🍵💲 What frogs and landscape mode have to do with your ability to get back on track
🍵💲The one skill that enabled me to still make $15,226 in July despite only working 9 days out of the month (+ a quiz to help you create this reality in your own business)
YOU are the sun in your business ecosystem, friend. You bring the energy that keeps everything growing and flowing.
Taking a step back to recharge almost always impacts your perspective in positive ways.
When we’re entrenched in our routines and established ways of doing things, it’s easy to become a bit blind to our options.
The first thing I do after a work break to reintegrate is a personal recap.
✨ What realizations landed in my lap while I was letting my nervous system chill?
✨ What am I working toward in the coming season? What are my current priorities?
✨ Is there anything I could do differently moving forward to make that happen?
From there, it’s time for the frogs 🐸
Your inbox upon returning to work might feel like a big old SWAMP.
Frogs — aka. tasks that need to be taken care of are everywhere.
Eat the biggest ones first when you’re back in action and you’ll thank yourself later.
The law of Forced Efficiency says that “There is never enough time to do everything, but there is always enough time to do the most important thing.”
When the stress of the things you’ve been avoiding is gone, only then can you effectively zoom out and look at life and business in landscape mode 📸
When I’m zooming out I always revisit any existing plans and important dates and ask myself these questions:
⇒ Is everything I have planned still in alignment with my goals and vision?
⇒ If not, what needs to shift?
⇒ What’s potentially blocking me from being able to follow through on my plan?
⇒ What needs to happen over the next 30 days to create a meaningful sense of progress?
This process is so good for grounding into where you’re at and getting clear on where you’re headed.

I hope it serves you in your own process of getting back on track (whether you’re returning from a lapse in routine or just need to take a step back 💚).
🧋 My business might not run itself when I’m away, but that doesn’t mean I’m not making sales.
Despite only working 9 days out of July, my sales from my courses and templates were over $15k 🤯
If you’re reading this and you’ve yet to create an offer that you create once and sell over and over again — I’ve got something for you…
My friend and past client Amy Porterfield has a really fun new quiz that will help you identify if you’re 1 of the 3 types of people sitting on some massive digital course potential.
I’ve already played around inside the quiz and I’ll tell you:
✅ If you’re not in 1 of 3 success groups, she’ll tell you. (But she’ll also tell you how to up your course-readiness, if your heart’s set.)
✅ She’ll explain how to go about transferring your experience as a trainer, teacher, coach, or service provider into a digital course.
✅ She’ll give you 3 actual steps to take to start crafting your digital course.
Amy spared no detail on these results pages – they read like an instruction manual written by a bestie (because she’s seen enough people in each category “make it” to believe in you already.)
So click here to take the quiz and check out your unique results page.
I can’t wait to hear what you got, hit reply and let me know!
🧋Can it be both?!
