“GAWD BRUH! Turn it dooooown mom it’s too loud.” – my kids to me anytime we’re in the car or I’m having a kitchen dance party. Yes two of them really call me “bruh” 😅
My music is clearly loud enough. My business is another story. I’ve known for a while that I have a volume problem. I see this with a lot of my clients too.
Good offers, aligned audience, no shortage of ways to drive traffic and increase visibility, but something just isn’t clicking.
It sounds so simple right? Just post MORE? Email MORE? Add one MORE task to the ol’ list that never ends.
The good news: sometimes it IS that simple.
The bad news: you’re already doing a lot. Adding more to your plate, especially more content/writing/recording is a big ask.
I hear that, and it’s why I’m in this same boat as you. But I’ve also been diving deep into HOW we can 10x the volume without doing 10x the work.
For context, when I talk about volume here what I mean is the sheer amount of content you’re putting out.
VOLUME = QUANTITY OF:
Or whatever other content formats you frequent.
I hate that we live in a world where volume is as important as it is.
Quality matters most, but quantity does too. Increasingly so.
I’ve analyzed so many launches in so many different niches — and in combination with the launches I’ve personally worked on with clients and my own over the last year, the importance of volume can’t be overstated.
So let’s turn it UP, shall we? ⬇️

“I have this epic offer but it’s not making the sales I know it could — what’s the deal?”
^^There are SO many potential answers to this question.
In this example, the client who came to me in this pickle genuinely did have a really solid offer that ticked all the boxes.
She also has an aligned audience.
The problem?
Volume because the launch she ran simply did not have the quantity of posts and emails needed to effectively make sure everyone who could benefit from the offer actually sees the offer.
Visibility because the minute she does increase the volume and talk about the offer more, engagement plummets and a large percentage of the people who could benefit from the offer don’t see it even if the quantity of posts is there.
Volume is not a solution in and of itself if the platform where you’re turning up the volume isn’t conducive to promotion.
^^I’m looking at you every social media platform in existence 👀
So how do we get around this pickle?
I loved how Sarah Jenks did it for her last membership launch.
She created a whole series of content relevant to the offer she was launching — 17 emails repurposed as blog posts too — and she told the story behind each of them and created intrigue in her social posts leading people to subscribe for the email or go directly to the blog version.
These were all pre-launch emails that served to build the belief bridge required to help her people go from having no desire to join a membership devoted to spiritual growth to knowing in their bones this is what they need to create the life they want.
The later emails and blog posts also led to her free class, where she then invites participants to check out the offer.
Her sales focused posts had substantially lower reach and engagement, but by then it didn’t matter. She captured the attention of her followers who’d be a good fit for the offer and invited them over to a platform where she has actual visibility for her sales focused content (EMAIL).
“Okay cool but that’s a metric crap ton of content and she has a team helping her.”
Totally. But imagine if for your next launch you put that much intention into the quality AND quantity of your content?
Game changer.
But still a heavy lift. I will never tell you creating that much high quality material is easy or that you can do it in 10 minutes a day. Ya can’t.
You can however, make turning up the volume easier on yourself (strong note to self here 😉)
Nobody does this better IMO than the world’s best newsletter creators.
Take Dan Koe’s process for example.
This guy, he’s SUH SERIOUS. His long-form newsletter is always hella poignant to the point of being painfully thought provoking.
(This recent issue is chef’s kiss 🤌)
From Dan’s Twitter:
I turn 1 piece of writing into content for all platforms:

You don’t necessarily need to have a long-form newsletter as your core content source, it could be anything and you can apply this idea to your launches too.
When I work on client launches or my own, my core content piece is always the sales page. From that, I’ll create 15-20 emails.
And while I’m not usually the one executing on social, they or their team will take that sales page and those emails and turn them into an equivalent number of social posts and ads.
A few months back I did a deep dive deconstructing Simone Seol’s launch strategy and hers was a beautiful example of someone unafraid of turning the volume up to max.
You can read the whole thing here but in a nutshell, during just one launch she had:
In Simone’s case (as far as I know and so it seems) it’s just her writing all of her posts and emails.
She teaches something called the Garbage Post Challenge where the goal IS mastering volume (+ overcoming the perfectionism that paralyzes so many of us when it comes to content creation.)
I’ve done it a few times and probably will again soon. Increasing the volume as a solopreneur or creator DEMANDS that you leave your perfectionism at the door.
What do you think, %FIRSTNAME%? Is your volume already at max or do you have room to grow in this department? (like yours truly who almost never repurposes these emails 😶🌫️)
