The #1 skill most business owners are sleeping on that makes EVERYTHING easier (especially sales) - Chanti Zak - Copywriter & Funnel Strategist

Estimated read time: 5 mins

Hey %FIRSTNAME%,

Have you ever followed a recipe exactly and still wound up with a meh meal?

Last week I attempted a lemony tahini pasta that sounded SO promising but tasted like sadness with a twist…

Until I added salt! An easy fix that as a classic millennial raised in the “salt is evil” era, took me awhile to figure out 😅

My poorly salted dish got me thinking about something I see all the time with underperforming offers…

They’re technically “complete”. They check all the boxes. But people aren’t buying. The energy isn’t there. You’re not getting those sweet Stripe pings.

Usually? It’s because one of the core ingredients is missing.

Knowing what goes into a high-performing offer is probably the #1 skill most online business owners are sleeping on… because most were never even taught what those ingredients are.

That’s why today I’m breaking down 5 elements from the Easy Yes Offer Scorecard (Easy Yes is officially closed for enrollment but I have something for you if it wasn’t a fit, keep reading…) and how they align with Salt, Fat, Acid, and Heat — the fundamentals of flavor and, turns out, the fundamentals of a scalable, no-brainer offer too.

Let’s get into it 🔥

What you’ll learn in this article:

🍵💲 The 5 ingredients of a juicy no-brainer offer that most business owners are never taught (+ how they mirror Salt, Fat, Acid, Heat)

🍵💲 A peek inside the Easy Yes Offer Scorecard so you can serve up something sustainable and scalable this summer

The tea: SFAH for when you’re cooking something outside of the kitchen

Samin Nosrat taught us that salt, fat, acid, and heat are the building blocks of every delicious dish.

But turns out they’re also the secret sauce behind every irresistible offer 💁‍♀️

Crafting a low-ticket product your audience can’t help but devour isn’t just about good ingredients — it’s about how you season and serve them.So if your offer’s feeling a little meh, grab your apron and let’s get back to the basics.

🧂1. Salt = Specific Promise

Salt makes food come alive. Same goes for your offer promise. It should enhance every other aspect of your offer.

Example:

Instead of “learn how to grow your list,” try…

→ “Grow your list by 100 qualified subscribers in 30 days — without relying on social media.”

Offer prompt:

Can a distracted friend describe what your offer helps people do in one sentence?

🧈2. Fat = Frustration Bridge

Fat adds depth, richness, and satisfaction. Your offer needs to speak to the real frustration beneath the surface.

Example:

“You’re stuck” is okay.

→ “You’ve made a gorgeous freebie, posted 3x a day, and still… crickets. You’re not lazy. You’re just missing a foundational piece of the puzzle.”

Offer prompt:

What kitchen-floor moment is your offer really solving for?

Don’t be afraid to go there. Frustration is the flavor your audience recognizes instantly.

🍋3. Acid = Realistic Wins

Acid cuts through the heaviness. This is your quick win — the thing that creates momentum, clarity, and believability.

Example:

Believable = “Make your first loaf of sourdough over a weekend.”
Not believable = “Overhaul your entire offer suite in 60 minutes”

Offer prompt:

What’s one small, satisfying transformation your buyer can actually complete in a realistic time frame?

A great Easy Yes offer doesn’t try to solve everything — it solves one thing, fast.

🔥4. Heat = Emotional Arc & Story

Heat transforms. Without it, raw ingredients stay raw. Without emotion, offers stay flat.

Example:

The best-selling Easy Yes offers I’ve seen are wrapped in real stories.

→ The I finally figured it out after years of struggle moment.
→ The I’m-done-trading-time-for-money pivot.
→ The “this saved me and now I’m sharing it” energy.

Offer prompt:

What’s your origin story for this offer? What did YOU need when you were in your buyer’s shoes?

Don’t just list features. Tell the story that turns curiosity into commitment.

🧺5. Clean-up = Ease of Delivery

Okay, this one’s not in SFAH — but let’s call it the no-pile-of-dirty-dishes rule.

If it’s not easy to deliver, it’s not an Easy Yes.

Example:

→ Pre-recorded workshop + workbook
→ Instant-access template pack
→ Drip email course with zero live time required

Offer prompt:

Could you deliver this offer on your worst day?

If it drains you, it won’t scale. If it energizes you? Baby, that’s the one.

🧋 Quote I’m loving:

You and I are not like cows. We’re not meant to graze all day. We’re meant to hunt like lions. We’re closer to carnivores in our omnivorous development than we are to herbivores. As an intellectual athlete, you want to function like an athlete. Which means you train hard, then you sprint, then you rest, then you reassess. This idea that you’re going to have linear output just by cranking every day at the same amount of time sitting… That’s machines. Machines are meant to work 9-5, not humans.
